Professional backgroundJoe Newbert is an internationally recognized Business Analysis and Change Consultant who specializes in organizational strategy, business analysis and change management, with a strong project leadership edge. He is a contributing member of the IIBA Professional Development Committee, author of The Art of War for Business Analysis, a keynote communicator and a regular contributor to industry events and publications. Joe has worked in the Business Change field for more than a decade, beginning when Prudential hired him in 1998 to work as a Business Analyst on their Y2k programme. During his career he has worked and managed teams on over 30 Business Improvement and Information Systems projects, spanning four continents, gaining a solid reputation for benefits delivery. After stints with IBM and Citibank, amongst others, Joe founded his own independent consulting firm, BCMG, in 2007, in order to provide educational, publishing and consulting services in contemporary Business Analysis. With a talent for communication, Joe enjoys presenting and interacting with people to gain and share insights and experiences. He is currently working on a number of exciting initiatives that give back to the Business Analysis community at large and inspire others to harness their potential. When not sharing his passion for Business Change, Joe is likely to be running on a remote trail out in the wilderness somewhere. |
